Carrie Dolan joined the firm as an attorney in 1994 and became a principal in 2000. Her practice includes both civil litigation and business transactions. In addition for having a passion for both areas of law, Ms. Dolan believes that practicing in both areas directly benefits her clients. Her in-depth knowledge and understanding of the formation of agreements proves invaluable when litigating contract disputes. Conversely, when drafting agreements, she is able to contemplate and incorporate provisions necessary to prevent future litigation.
She concentrates her litigation practice in areas of commercial litigation, title insurance defense and real estate litigation, including mechanics liens and foreclosures. She has litigated before state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court, the appellate court, governmental and administrative agencies and in arbitration proceedings. Her transactional practice focuses on corporate transactions, commercial loan documentation, secured transactions, real estate and condominium law.
Carrie has been named an Illinois "Super Lawyer" for the years 2020 through 2024. Super Lawyers, a rating service of lawyers from some 70 practice areas, uses peer nominations and independent research to decide whether an attorney has sufficient peer recognition and professional achievement to qualify. The Super Lawyers' List recognizes no more than 5 percent of the attorneys in each state.
Carrie has been privileged to represent and counsel small and large companies, commercial banks, title insurance companies, churches, associations and individuals.
