Maurice P. Raizes
Maury Raizes was a co-founder of Cohon Raizes & Regal LLP and practiced law at the firm from 1956 to 2014. His experience was broad based and included antitrust, corporate, litigation in all Illinois state and federal courts as well as federal and state courts in various states, real estate development, tax cases, estate planning and appellate work. He lectured for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and other groups in the areas of antitrust and federal trial practice. He served as Chairman of the Federal Civil Practice Committee of the Chicago Bar Association, as a Director of the Appellate Lawyers Association, as a member of the General Assembly of the Illinois State Bar Association and as president of the Board of Visitors of the University of Illinois. He was Chairman of Board of Directors of America-Israel Chamber of Commerce Chicago.
